" We had been thinking about purchasing a property in spain for some time.. A Place in the Sun put us in touch with Alex, at Keystone properties. From initial communication, all the way through our journey, Alex was attentive, helpful, supportive and informative! He put the ground work in early, by searching for properties within our budget and that met our wish list! One of them was ideally a sea view, which was a stretch, within our budget. He was in regular contact during the build up to our trip in April. He answered our questions and explained the process clearly. He had a list of properties to show us, by the time we arrived, but did explain about the fast moving market, so some sold by the time we arrived. Alex picked us up on day one to take us to view some properties. We had our 5 year old foster son with us, and Alex was so friendly and accommodating, this made us all feel at ease. As we started to look at properties, Alex was in tune with our requirements. He took time to show us the local area too. On day 2 we saw a property we loved. It was a little over our budget, but it ticked all our boxes. Alex arranged a second viewing the next day. He helped advise us about putting in an offer and after some negotiation, we agreed a price that was accepted. Alex organised an appointment with a local lawyer for us, and literally set everything up that we would need to make the process and transactions as easy and straightforward as possible. On our last day we met him and his wife Kerry, and they bought us lunch to celebrate. They make a great team. The support and communication didn’t stop there, it continued once we were home, and literally all the way up to completion. He was always on hand to answer any questions we had and explain things we didn’t understand. On the day of completion (which all happens quite quickly in Spain) he called us in person to jangle the keys, once the property was ours. All very exciting. The countdown was then on to wait for our first trip out to our new property. We had to wait for about 6 weeks and during that time, Alex popped in to our property to check in on it and make sure the air conditioning still worked! We had a delay on our flight but finally arrived at our property past midnight! Alex and Kerry were there to meet us, with a bottle of champagne to celebrate.
